I will be voting ‘Leave’.
What stops us working together with other nations outside the EU? We’ve been doing it for years. The EU is an undemocratic institution where the top echelon can threaten us, forgetting that they are supposed to be working for us. “Britain will be punished if it votes ‘Leave’ ” says Junker, top man in the EU. We can vote out the British Government if we don’t like it. We can’t do that with the EU. Cameron’s ‘renegotiation’ from inside the EU produced what? Working directly with another European (or other) nation we can agree a contract which suits both of us. In the EU we are bound by central rules and a European court which has a very different view of its function to the one we have developed over the centuries. Certainly we need a relationship with the nations of Europe. The EU isn’t it. Vote ‘Leave’.
